Submissions by exhibit
Incoming & review
New submissions wait here until an administrator approves them. Nothing is public until you approve it.
All pieces
Everything in the current exhibit. Filter by campus, edit statements, hide, mark sold, or remove.
Publishing
Control what the public gallery shows for each campus. Set a campus Live when its display is ready, Coming soon to show a short message instead of pieces, or Draft to hide it from the public page entirely. Campuses can go live on different timelines.
Print identification cards
Generate a printable batch of cards for the pieces on display. Each card has your logo, the piece details, and a QR code that opens the piece online.
Opens a print-ready page. Use your browser's Print dialog and "Save as PDF," then print at the church office and cut.
Printable gallery guide
A one-page program of the exhibit's pieces by campus (title, artist, medium, scripture), to hand out or post by the display.
Open the gallery guide ›Exhibits & due dates
An exhibit gathers a themed body of work: its scriptures or themes, the display dates, and the submission due date. It can follow a sermon series, a season, or a standalone theme.
Create a new exhibit
Controls the "Inspiration or Scripture" box on the submission form for this exhibit. You can change it per exhibit.
Adds the "Song" option (lyrics, a recording, optional sheet music, video link, and licensing) to the submission form for this exhibit.
Deadline message
Draft a reminder to copy into your ministry GroupMe or email list. We do not send it for you yet; that is on the roadmap.
Ministry calendar
A month-by-month view of when your exhibits open and close. Set each exhibit's display window under Exhibits & due dates.
All exhibit dates
Every submission due date and display window, in order. A shared events calendar, with an option to sync to the church website calendar, is on the roadmap.
Archive
Every past piece, kept by artist. Bring a piece back into a new exhibit or show it at another campus.
Artists
Everyone who has submitted work. Search by name or email, and filter to artists who opted in to be contacted about a global exhibit curated by Hymn & Hue.
Help & guide
How each part of the admin works. Search, or browse by area. This grows as new features are added.
Audit log
A running record of who approved, edited, hid, deleted, published, or changed settings, and when. In production this is append-only: administrators can review it but not edit it.
Church & ministry settings
Super admin only. This is what makes the platform work for any church.
Fellowship calls it "Spectra Arts." Another church can name its own.
Upload up to three versions so your logo looks right everywhere. Transparent PNGs work best. Each control shows a live preview on the background it is used against.
Used on light surfaces (printed cards, light pages). This is also your default logo. PNG or JPG.
Used on the navy gallery and submission banners. Upload a transparent, light-colored version so it reads on dark navy.
The small icon in the browser tab of your hosted gallery. A square PNG, SVG, or ICO.
Used when no gallery font is chosen below.
Pick a font family for your gallery and your printed cards. Every font here is open-licensed and free for us to host, so it applies on both your public gallery and your cards. Leave either on "Default" to keep the standard look.
The gallery font styles your headings on the public gallery; the card font styles the on-screen identification cards. These take precedence over the serif/sans choice above.
Upload your own font (coming soon)
This is not available yet. Using your own uploaded font on a hosted public gallery involves web-font licensing that we are finalizing with our attorney, so the upload is turned off for now. In the meantime, the open-licensed fonts above cover most needs.
When it opens, you will confirm your license covers all four uses: online display, webfont embedding on a public website, print, and hosting by us (a third-party service) on your behalf. Many common fonts do not allow all four.
Fonts you cannot upload include Adobe Fonts, Microsoft or Office-bundled fonts, and standard marketplace desktop licenses, unless you hold an explicit webfont and redistribution license for them.
An optional welcome shown above your art grid on the public gallery. Use it to say why this gallery exists, what your ministry is about, and what a visitor is looking at. Leave every field blank to hide it entirely.
Kept understated so it frames the gallery without competing with the artwork.
The guidelines are what an artist agrees to when they submit. They cover ownership, values, care of the work, review before display, being 18 or older, and picking up physical pieces. Artists do not attest to any set of beliefs; they confirm their work follows your guidelines. Your own guidelines may include a statement of faith if you wish.
Download the default to edit and make your own:

Google Doc (make a copy).
See Help for how to use it, then paste your final text below and switch to "Use our own guidelines."
This contact is shown publicly on your submission page and, when inquiries route to the office, on your gallery. Consider a generic ministry identity (for example, your church or arts-program name and a shared inbox like arts@yourchurch.org) rather than a specific person's name and personal email.
Each size uses a layout tuned to fit. Smaller media drop fields that will not print legibly (no font under 10 pt, 14 pt ideal); a business card shows the artist, title, medium, size, and QR code only. Open the card preview ›
Both are on by default. Turning one off can help a small card stay readable.
A church choice. Modern tools are powerful, and we value craftsmanship, the handmade, and the skill that grows through practice. Freely allow means artists are not asked how a piece was created. More careful adds a required checkbox to the submission form: the artist attests that they personally painted, wrote, composed, or performed the work they submit.
When a visitor asks to buy or license a piece, this decides who receives the message. The default routes it through your office so no artist's contact information is shown publicly.
Approval workflow
Embed on your website
Put your gallery, or your submission form, right on your own website (Rock, Wix, WordPress, Squarespace, or plain HTML). Copy a snippet, paste it into a page, and it stays in step with your gallery on its own.
Churches
Every church on Hymn & Hue. Switch into any one to administer it, or add a new church here. Each new church gets its own gallery at <subdomain>.hymnandhue.org and a first super admin who sets their own password on first sign in.
The arts program name defaults to the church name if left blank. The subdomain must be lowercase letters, numbers, or hyphens. Billing is handled offline for now; the first churches run free.
Integrations
Connect your church's Rock management system. Store a read key and a write key for the REST API, and the OpenID Connect credential for member sign in. Keys are encrypted and never shown again after you save them. With a write key and its channel settings in place, approved pieces push into your Rock content channel automatically, and you can push a whole exhibit at once below.
People & access
Add and remove administrators, set their role and campus, reset passwords, and fine-tune permissions. You can manage people below your own level; a campus admin manages their own campus.
Administrators
- Super admin: the account owner. Everything, plus the plan, settings, congregations, and usage reports.
- Congregation admin: runs one or more congregations and manages the Admins and Associates in them.
- Admin: reads, writes, and approves pieces, but does not manage people or settings.
- Associate: read only (can view, but not change, approve, or remove).
A new person gets a one-time setup link for you to send them; they set their own password and land in the console. If the email already belongs to a Hymn & Hue login, they are invited with their existing password.

Submission form fields
Turn the optional fields on or off for your church's submission form, and choose whether Size is required. The Applies to column shows which kinds of work each field appears for, so a field never shows where it does not fit: Size is for physical art only, songs offer a recorded audio statement, and so on. Core fields (photo, title, name, statement, and the Art Submission Guidelines) are always on. Congregation shows only when your church has more than one; with a single congregation it is assigned automatically and hidden from the form. Inspiration or Scripture is set per exhibit.
